How we met: Romina and I are proof that when life wants someone in your life it will happen regardless. Someone who was once a stranger in college became my co worker and ultimately my best friend. Things like that aren’t just coincidences. Our Bond: it’s impossible to say this in just a few words. But to summarize Romina is my rock. No matter what it is we do it’s always a great time and time flys by. I couldn’t ask for a better friend, travel buddy, karaoke partner, hype woman, fellow shopping addict…. anything you can imagine basically, that’s what you are to me.

We met in 6th grade, initially just through proximity—we were in band together, though on different instruments (you on the flute, me on the trombone). We were friendly, but the real turning point was the Schlitterbahn trip. That day, hanging out with you and Nathaniel, something just clicked, and it laid the foundation for our lifelong friendship. What makes our bond special? No matter how much time passes, we always pick up right where we left off—no awkwardness, no distance. We've had each other’s backs through everything, and while we have a lot of friends, few have been as solid and constant as us.

How we met: I’ve known Romina since the day she was born—we grew up climbing furniture, building forts, and creating endless memories. Our bond: We make an unbeatable charades team, reading each other’s minds with the smallest clues. My favorite moment? Romina raised her hands like an “A,” and I knew instantly—Eiffel Tower.

Habib and I met when we started working together a couple years ago. He was by far the most over-qualified graphic designer the world may have ever seen. Our relationship on the work front is special, no doubt. But, as a true homie he’s even better. He’s a guy I can count on for advice, he’s honest, and never turns down a good time — a true renaissance man lol What makes our bond special is how well we can blend work and play. The unspoken level of respect we have for each other and how similar we view life. It’s extremely rare to find people like that. If it weren’t for this dude my life would look a lot different right now… a lot worse. I’m honored to call him one of my best friends. For many more years to come. Love you brother! P.S. How we met: When I got married, I expected a husband, in-laws, and endless unsolicited advice—but I didn’t expect to gain you. From day one, you weren’t just there, you were part of the story, Shahin’s behind-the-scenes strategist and my instant safe space. Our bond: We were meant to be family—not just by marriage, but in the she knows too much, so we’re stuck for life kind of way. I’m so lucky to have you as my bonus cousin, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I got to know Habib through my cousin, Romina. From the moment he became a part of her life, he also became a part of ours. Over time, we’ve had the chance to connect, and I’ve gotten to see firsthand the amazing person he is. What makes our relationship special is how naturally he fit into our family. He’s not just the guy marrying my cousin—he’s someone I consider a friend and a brother. What stands out the most about him is his kindness and how much he genuinely cares for the people around him. Whether it’s in the way he supports Romina or how he treats everyone with warmth and respect, it’s clear he’s someone with a big heart. I’m honored to stand by his side on this big day!

How we met: I don’t remember exactly when we met, but I can’t remember life without Romina. Freshman year, we became friends through friends, bonding over hallway walks and endless tea spills. Our bond: We’ve stood by each other through every high and low. Romina always shows up, even when we don’t agree, and somehow knows exactly when I need her most. Whether it’s spilling tea, plotting (with words, of course), or sharing K-pop and K-dramas, she’s my go-to.

Habib and I met when a mutual friend set up a conversation between us for a documentary that Habib was making about local Houston creatives. I think the first few things that stood out to me about him was his work ethic, punctuality, and how devoted he was to his passions. We continued to bond over shared tastes in film, music, and general perspectives on life. It's been truly admirable to witness the person and the creative he's grown into over these years. I know he'll bring that same devotion and passion to his marriage with Romina. I wish you guys all the best!

How we met: Romina and I met in 6th grade, two shy girls exchanging silent peace signs across campus. Over the years, our paths slowly drifted together until freshman year at Stratford, when our friendship *exploded*. From SNL skits to Just Dance routines (and even a Macbeth prequel about a goat), we were geniuses ahead of our time. Our bond: High school was part trauma bonding, part absolute chaos—like the time Romina carried me across multiple yards with a sprained ankle, only to realize we were at the wrong house. We used to joke that the only way out of this friendship is death—16 years later, it’s just a fact.

Ironically enough I met Habib through Romina. I was just a high school kid volunteering at a local nonprofit. I met Romina volunteering at the same place, and later on she introduced me to her friend group. As a result, this is where I met Habib.      Me and Habib share a unique friendship. He's definitely the bigger brother in our friendship. He is the wise, responsible, and on occasion the mature one out of the both of us. I openly talk to him about all my, not so, successful relationships, life crisis, and share a vault of endless memes. He will always remind me to be confident (be a dawg) in myself. To this I am grateful for the many shared memories and the ones in our near future.  

How we met: Our friendship began on a high school newspaper trip to UT, where my brilliant icebreaker was (attempting) to wall twerk for Romina. Our bond: While that memory is a blur, our friendship has been rock solid ever since. From endless laughter and inside jokes (Mashallah!), to navigating life’s highs and lows together, Romina has always been my constant. Long Version: I had the privilege of meeting Habib when our paths crossed professionally, collaborating on creative projects together. Initially, I got to know Habib the talented creative designer, but soon discovered Habib the amazing friend. Our bond really took off during a work trip to Vegas, where the friendship leveled up in ways only Vegas could manage, responsibly of course we love you Romina! Short Version: Met online...and then really met met in Vegas 😂
